Prof. Humphrey Ojwang - Co Founder
Humphrey is a Professor of Linguistics and Anthropology at the Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies (IAGAS) of the University of Nairobi (UoN). He is also the founder of the Enduring Voices Foundation alongside the Late Prof. Duncan Okoth Okombo and other renowned African Scholars. .
Prof. Ojwang holds a B..A Degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Nairobi, a MSc. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Aston in Birmingham, England and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Pretoria, in Pretoria, South Africa. He has done extensive research on harmful traditional and cultural practices like FGM in Kenya. At EVF, he initiates and delegates open forums and debates with various pastoralists’ communities, the media, and the general public. |
Carolyne A. Ngara - Project Manager
Carolyne holds a Bsc. Journalism from the University of Salzburg, Austria, an M.A in Latvian Language from the University of Latvia - Riga, Latvia, and an M.A in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi. She will help in designing, coordinating and executing the proposed project. She manages projects by maintaining the projects methodologies, establishing priorities and ensuring adherence to project schedules through efficiency and quality of output.

Susan O. Kwamboka - Project Coordinator
Susan holds a B.A in Business Administration from the United State International University - Africa. In this project, she designs, carries out, delegates and monitors project implementations. She’s also the resource person, resolves problems and helps in mitigating risks that might arise during EVF’s project implementations.

George Audo - Chief Accountant
George holds a B.A in Finance from the Jomo Kenyatta University for Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He administers EFV’s financial accounts, prepares organization’s budgets and maintains financial records. He also certifies organization’s expenditures and makes them available, whenever required. .

Oscar Ojwando Limbe - Finance Officer
Oscar holds a B.A in Finance from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a M.A in Business Administration from Strathmore University. At EVF, he administers financial accounts, prepares field budgets and maintains financial records. He also certifies project expenditures based on Grants and Awards and makes them available, whenever required.

Judith Awino - Office Coordinator
Judith Sees the day to day running of the EVF office.. She Holds a B.A in Education - English Literature Major. from Rongo University. She also holds a Diploma in German Language from Goethe Institute. .
At EVF, Judith provides administrative duties to ensure office processes run smoothly. She manages employee documentation, daily activities, and employee-related functions.. She also coordinates training requirements, including organising rooms for employee training, printing training certificates and filing them accordingly, reviewing training policies, and updating training systems She organises relevant office events and communicates with staff for the purpose of ordering office supplies and planning of meeting rooms. |
Victor Majanga - Technical Assistant
Victor holds a Bsc. in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi. In this project, he will perform a variety of highly specialized technical tasks; provide computer support on hardware and software, administer local area network and monitor network usage. He will maintain project equipment, install, configure, test and upgrade project hardware/software and perform system back-ups.

Rachael Maronei - Indigenous Women's Representative
Rachael is an Anti-FGM/C Activist and Campaigner and Indigenous Women Representative
She holds a Diploma in Community Work from Zetech University. She has a long standing experience in Community organizing. At EVF, she acts as the Indigenous Women Representative and is the bridging gap between our foundation and the Indigenous communities and women. |
Mr. Johanna Lonyangapuo - Folklorist and Indigenous Peoples Representative
Johanna is an indigenous Masaai Folklorist and Indigenous peoples Representative - He addresses the Masaai community challenges, problems and issues like Environmental violations, land ownership, conservation, early marriage, FGM, child beading, education and moranism through the Advisory Council. Johanna also cooperates with EVF in community projects, open-peer-forums and discussions targeting pastoralists’, Moran age-sets and youthful groups.

Ester is a college student currently pursuing a Certificate Course in Gender Studies at the Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies. At EVF, Esther represents the concerns of Indigenous Girls to the EVF Advisory panel. |
