Our Origin
The Enduring Voices Foundation (EVF) - is a coalition of indigenous pastoralists’ communities that was founded in 2009, by a group of accomplished African scholars, researchers, anthropologists and the academia. It was incorporated in the Republic of Kenya as a Non-Governmental Organization in the same year. Today, human rights advocacy on climate change and food security remains the mainstay of EVF, underlined by principles of participation, accountability, non-discrimination, equality and legality. The work of EVF is under girded by the cardinal principle of rule of law where accountability, respect for institutions and participation is upheld.
EVF upholds the highest standards of integrity by ensuring honesty, fairness and consistency in its dealings with members, staff and other stakeholders. EVF also commits itself to ensuring highest standards of professionalism, effective and efficient service delivery and confidentiality to participants, donors and all stakeholders.
Today, EVF is an equal opportunity employer that employs a no-discriminatory policy. EVF does not discriminate people based on their race, disability, religious or sexual orientation. At EVF the Indigenous people are represented at all levels through their set community structures and representations.
